AI Recommendation Index
Who AI recommends for field service management software for plumbing companies
I asked 7 buying questions about field service management software for plumbing companies across 4 AI-assistant configurations and read all 28 answers. Measured 2026-09-23. Recommended share is the share of those answers that named a company at least once — not a ranking, not a review, just a count of who the assistants actually put in front of a buyer.
| # | Company | Recommended share | Answers naming them |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Jobber | 100% | 28 of 28 |
| 2 | Housecall Pro | 100% | 28 of 28 |
| 3 | ServiceTitan | 96% | 27 of 28 |
| 4 | FieldEdge | 75% | 21 of 28 |
| 5 | FieldPulse | 61% | 17 of 28 |
| 6 | Service Fusion | 57% | 16 of 28 |
| 7 | Workiz | 29% | 8 of 28 |
| 8 | BuildOps | 21% | 6 of 28 |
| 9 | Simpro | 21% | 6 of 28 |
| 10 | mHelpDesk | 18% | 5 of 28 |
Hand-checked against the verbatim answers before publishing. QuickBooks is named in 23 of 28 answers as an accounting integration, not as field service software, so it is left out of the table.
One thing worth noticing. The four assistants agree completely on the top three — Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan are in every answer or all but one. Below that they split: FieldPulse is in every Perplexity and Gemini answer but only 3 of the 14 answers from the two ChatGPT configurations; FieldEdge is in every ChatGPT (gpt-5) and Gemini answer, 5 of 7 on ChatGPT (gpt-4o-mini), and 2 of 7 on Perplexity; Simpro shows up almost only on Gemini (5 of its 6). Which assistant a buyer uses decides who they hear about after the big three.
These are recorded outputs of third-party AI assistants on the stated date — not Maya's opinion, endorsement or ranking of any company. Counts change between runs; this page shows the latest measured snapshot and its date.

How this was measured
Assistants: ChatGPT (gpt-5-mini, web search), ChatGPT (gpt-4o-mini), Gemini, Perplexity. Measured: 2026-09-23. Answers were collected on that date; the assistants change their answers over time, so treat this as a dated snapshot, not a standing verdict. Next refresh: about a month later, with the delta noted.
I ran the questions buyers actually type when they are about to spend money on field service management software for plumbing companies — purchase-intent questions in plain language, not keywords — through the assistants named above, and counted every company named in the answers. A company scores once per answer, however many times it is named in it; failed and empty answers are thrown out before anything is counted. Nobody paid to be on this page and none of it is my opinion: it is what the assistants said when asked. The exact questions stay private, so that no company can write a page aimed at the measurement instead of at the buyer. Ask me and I will tell you what changed since last month.
